This policy explains what personal information Digital Dreaming collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Digital Dreaming (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a web design and marketing studio based in Ontario, Canada, operating the website at digital-dreaming.appand the services offered through it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy and anti-spam laws. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@digital-dreaming.app or (226) 218-1791.
In Canada, we rely on your consent to collect, use, and disclose your personal information — express consent for sensitive uses like marketing, and implied consent where reasonable (for example, replying to an enquiry you sent us). You can withdraw consent at any time. For visitors in the EU/UK, where the GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we also rely on performance of a contract and our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site. With your consent we may use analytics and marketing cookies to understand traffic and measure campaigns. You can accept, reject, or fine-tune these at any time via .
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting & delivery |
| Neon | Database (stores form & CRM data) |
| Resend | Transactional & notification email |
| Twilio | SMS notifications (where used) |
| Business Profile & analytics (where used) |
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Where you or your customers opt in to receive text messages from us or from a business using our platform (for example appointment confirmations, booking reminders, or replies to an enquiry you texted us), the following applies:
If you connect a Google account (for example to add Google Meet links and calendar events to your bookings), we access only the scopes you approve — creating calendar events on your behalf and reading your account email to label the connection. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the feature you enabled or as required by law. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your dashboard, which deletes the stored credential. Digital Dreaming’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We work with clients and providers worldwide, so your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and record-keeping purposes — then delete or anonymize it.
Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian law, you can access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent at any time. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to delete or port your data, or to object to or restrict processing; California residents can review Your Privacy Choices. To exercise any right, use our Privacy Requestform — we won’t discriminate against you for doing so. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of any breach as required by law.
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
